Brown Bear and Walrus Safari

If you are seeking a true adventure into the wilderness and wildlife of Alaska, this safari will take you far beyond the beaten path and into regions that few visitors are able to access. Our naturalist guides have extensive Alaska and bear experience (over 40 years) and are currently offering an exceptionally unique safari into Alaska’s most remote terrain to view and photograph brown bears and walruses.  Alaska’s vast wilderness is largely beyond traditional tourism but we have created an itinerary which provides access to Alaska’s most unique wildlife viewing.

Day 1: Arrive in Homer, Alaska, Day 2: Depart for Katmai National Park by ship, Day 3-5: Bear viewing along coast of Katmai National Park, Day 6: Float plane flight from Katmai coast to King Salmon, AK, Day 7 & 8: Flights to beaches for walrus viewing and photography, Day 9: Fly to Anchorage, Day 10: Depart Alaska from Anchorage
